Amid swirling rumors of a falling-out, Filipino American pop superstar Olivia Rodrigo recently showed a subtle sign of support for fellow pop star Taylor Swift. 

The two Grammy-winning artists were both present at the recently concluded 2025 Grammys on Feb. 2, but fans noticed they did not appear to interact throughout the event.

Once known for their close bond, Rodrigo and Swift have seemingly drifted apart in recent years. Speculations intensified with the release of Rodrigo’s hit song “Vampire,” as fans debated the possible inspiration behind the track.

Some theories pointed toward an ex-lover, while others speculated that the song’s biting lyrics – “Bloodsucker, fame f*cker, bleedin’ me dry like a goddamn vampire” – could reference the “Cruel Summer” singer.

Amid the ongoing chatter, an Instagram fan account dedicated to Swift reposted her Glambot video from E!, and among the thousands of likes on the post was the “Drivers License” hitmaker herself.

The Fil-Am singer-songwriter previously dismissed rumors of any tension with Swift in 2023. In an interview with The Guardian, she avoided directly addressing the speculation surrounding “Vampire,” explaining that she prefers not to reveal the subjects of her songs.

She emphasized that assigning a single meaning to a track limits its interpretation, adding that she has never named inspirations behind her music and doesn’t intend to start.

The cooling of their friendship is believed to stem from songwriting credits on Rodrigo’s 2021 album “Sour.”

After sharing that the “Cruel Summer” bridge inspired her track “Deja Vu,” Swift and collaborator Jack Antonoff were given retroactive writing credits.
